Overview

Initially a small kingdom, the militaristic Sarpadians expanded over centuries bringing to heel neighbouring duchies, principalities, tribes and kingdoms underneath the banner of one unifying empire. Their expansion commenced some 1,200 years ago, reached a zenith some 900 years ago before the utter collapse of the Empire some 500 years ago. The empire collapsed after a centuries long struggle against a deadly foe which destroyed them both.
