Jorentes controls large parts of the Saturn Mountains and the vast fertile Jorentes plateau which is surrounded by the Saturn mountains. Jorentes in the past 50 years has moved into grasslands beyond the western foothills into the territory formerly occupied by a huge number of city-states and minor kingdoms prior to Helegu invasion 300 years ago.
The largest and most impressive Jorentes cities are housed in the Saturn Mountains and other than the capital include Lunar Major, Saltus Major, Exculis Major, Crinis Major, Andromeda.
Cities lost to the Helegu included Prius, Canus Stellae Major and Sacrem Tor.
King Nemedden Moonrunner rules from the capital Solis Major, atop of which sits the huge fortification of Solis Minor. Solis Minor is the last major obstacle to an army invading from the west reaching the Jorentes plateau
Jorentes population includes millions of refugees from the times of the Helegu expansion and large populations of demi-humans. The native Jorenteans are now a minority popoulation within their kingdom.
Solis Major sits on a high plateau guarding the largest and most accessible pass through the mounatins.
Jorentes control extends west into the plains of former territories destroyed by the Helegu and into lands where Helegu influence has declined with the fall of the Khaganate
Jorentes main defensive fortifications start in the foothills of the Saturn Mountains and consist of hundreds of miles of defensive walls, heavily fortified citadels and and great castles defending passes into the mountains.

- It is a specially designed ballista (cannon) that fires bolts of energy, though it is unstable and named as a warp cannon
- Most worrisome is a doomsday weapon rumoured to be shortly deployed known as the Null Sphere. It harnesses the power of phantom energy which can only be found in the space between the spaces.
