Essen of the Isillorn ('Moonlake') clan
Essen was the third child of the wealthy and influential but highly snobbish Isillorn elven lords. Until her late 20s she was being brought up as a princess, with all the associated privileges - education, etiquette and high-society protocols. She absolutely resented that from the very beginning and often rebelled against it. She would show up to social events with other noble families dressed in peasant clothes and completely stoned, whereupon she would proceed to eat with her hands and sing loudly. After a particularly awful fight with her parents, she renounced her noble heritage and left for good with nothing but the clothes on her back.
