The Mummy Noble Houtl-het was awakened and brought forward from the timevoid after 6000 years adrift.

She was searching for the one for awakened her (it was *its safe to go back into the water*) and seemed that she did not anticipate on becoming one of the great undead.

Houtl-het had been sending out undead war parties to either chase others away from the ruins or to parts unknown, often lead by Wraiths. Her forces had clashed with nearby hobgoblin legions.

Some captives were subject to brutal ritual before their fluids were drained and vital organs consumed. The barracks contain butchered bodies hung on hooks, on slabs, organs separated into canopic jars, all for the consumption of Houtl-het. Houtl-het had consumed vast amounts of the mana before the group's arrival and she was much more 'fleshy' than the other mummys.

Houtl-het was building and summoning an undead army. She had been unable to summon or create a being of greater than CR4, but was partway through a ritual to create Dredge Skeletons before she was disrupted.

The Temple complex/Ruins

Originally this complex was the great house of Houtl-het and her family. It included many dedications to the Great Alin Patrons on the exterior and Ammutseba in the hidden or private interiors.

For millennia the great house was nothing but a handful of ruins covered in centuries of debris and landfall. With the reawakening of Houtl-het, the great house itself has began to emerge from hidden depths, while the servants of Houtl-het and cultists worked relentlessly to repair the grounds and walls.

Cult of Ammutseba

Centred on the ruins, a cult had sprung up in awe of the Mysteries of Ammutseba. The cultists are in awe of Houtl-het and she used the cultists as her eyes and ears in the immediate surrounds, in addition to using the occasional cultist in the barracks.

The 'little girl' was both cultist and Houtl-het's human familiar.

In Game

Houtl-het and the little girl fled via a teleportation circle to the subterranean remains of a fallen Carkade fortress on the great eastern continent where she was followed by the party.

She was defeated before the Witch Queen Sili phased the area briefly, causing time to slow and negotiate on behalf of "the creature". In exchange for sparing the existence of Houtl-het, the little girl was returned from the dead and Sili agreed to take Houtl-het to a place she would never be able to interfere again with the world.
