Background

The Bruja Ubusara lives in the village of Haybek with her blind old aunt (is an Emerald Hag in service to Ubusara). The Hag is the “front” to contact the Bruja.

She has a tiny figurine of Gueil (a Loa) - cross legged male figure, hooded tunic, metal-banded comforter, waist-tight jerkin, banding on left arm, symbol of Faerun on right foot, and holding a skull in each hand. The exposed parts are extremely lean with very long fingers. It has recently started to become hot for brief periods of time, once glowing so hot with heat that nearby objects caught fire. It displays the symbol of the ******** whenever it heats up.

“I put a hurt on him” - she was boiling hunks of meat and hanging them on hooks when the characters arrive.

She is a warlock and her otherworldly patron is Marquis Artimar Mal Adra, Lord of the Silvery Sea, Preserver of the Deltic Knots, Watcher in the Evenwoods and Delusion’s Favourite Child.

Relationship with the Crag

• Knows his chosen name;
• Knows his previous but not current location;
• Has alternately fought against and sided with him;
• Suspects him of being behind the werewolves;
• Knows about the killing of the Jayak tribe;
• Knows he has claimed the mantle of Dark Heart of the Night

Relationship with the Witch Queens

• Sili is spread thin, not sure what this means - Sili can sometimes demonstrate power but doesn’t interact directly;
• Knows the stories of Sili seeking out Hecate’s power
• Knows Sili has been active the past few years after decades of silence
• Has twice had fleeting contact with Sili and it was “compelling and monstrous”
• No contact with Emtariath or Toreja, but recognises the signs indicating their return
