Caridern

They were connected to the worlds of Eo and Cah-Galel, not to Faerun and were a society of skilled relentless warriors ruled by an elite caste of arch-mages. They sent expiditionary forces to other worlds via the Feywild before the recent minor discontinuance event started. They constructed outposts in the Feywild near places where access to the prime plane was relatively easy. The Caridern expanded outward more than 100,000 years ago, when there were fewer fissures and the Feywild linked 1,000s of worlds.

Their home was made uninhabitable in war with the Alin, and they were the builders of the "Feywild Fortress" accessed from Skaedguard.

The Caridern encountered Yurlunggur.

  • bleak, dusty & windblown with minimal breathable atmosphere
  • a desiccated Caridern corpse was found half buried in the sand of a broken surrounded by 3 dead Moranth
  • Broken mountain sized metal discs on the horizon, jutting out from the ground at steep angles
• Archaeological evidence connected them to the worlds of Eo and Cah-Galel, not to Faerun
