Witch Queen Sili
  • Seekers and followers of Hecate, Elder Goddess of Witches, whose dormant power they crave above all else
  • Once stepped freely across multiple planes and dimensions
  • Could phase in and out existence
  • Were powerful enough to have multiple patrons
  • Eventually exceeded the strength of their patrons
  • Ascended to into the cosmic order not as gods but powerful cosmic beings
  • Are a fractious triumvirate eternally allying with, then contesting and struggling against the other Witch Queens
  • Use others to conduct an endless proxy war with each other.
Witch Queen Emtariath

The Witch Queens have been rarely seen after the fall of the Sarpadian Empire 500 years ago.

Using ancient ascension rites the Witch Queens attempted the transfer the divine spark within slumbering Hecate to themselves.

So that the raw power of Hecate did not pass directly to the witches and obliterate them during the ascension ritual, the Witch Queens created and used during the ritual:

  • Multiple magical circles in intricate linked arcane patterns to spiral Hecate's power in controllable and useable ways
  • Artfact level powered proxies and fetishes to absorb, harness and channel Hecate's power
  • Gathering pools and arcane holding chambers where Hecate's power could be temporarily held in abeyance for better control
  • Arcane channels to funnel controlled amounts of Hecate’s power from one part of the ritual to the next
  • Split the ritual over multiple planes
  • Split themselves into multiple forms over multiple planes with a common link through each of the planes to receive Hecate's power

So that their many forms didn’t move away from each other anchor points were required by the Witch Queens to maintain a common link through each of their forms across multiple planes. On the prime plane each Witch Queen used one of Hecate's first 3 Sacred Temples as her anchor point. These are located at:

  • Hecate’s Landing on the north east Radiant Coast
  • Ruins of Andii, former capital city of the Eldar Empire
  • Omicron Ceti, 15th city of the former Sarpadian Empire

When the places containing the resting Hecate suddenly shifted away from the anchor points, the Witch Queens were unable to untangle themselves from Hecate in time to stop their forms being split across multiple planes.

They have become more active recently as the places containing Hecate have once again shifted closer, enabling the Witch Queens to reform for brief moments.

Their priority is to reform through coherence rituals.

Their second priority is ascension using the raw power of the Elder Goddess of Witches.
